ACCOUNTING SERVICESACC’s centralized accounting department is located at the corporate office. We utilize Management Plus for Windows by American Computer Software, a property management software, and Business/Works Accounting. Software is utilized to maintain all books and reporting records for all properties managed by ACC. Accounting performs cash management functions for all the properties. Processing includes posting rents and all other charges to residential and condominium homeowners, including collection payments from residents and homeowners. Expenses are recorded and accounts payable invoices are then processed. Accounting provides resident managers with resident reports, which aid them in collection efforts. Account reconciliation’s are performed at month end. Financial statements are prepared on the accrual basis of accounting and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles for each property. With our property management software we are able to provide various reports as needed by the management division assisting them in effective management of the properties. This system provides accurate investor reporting as well. |
